The passing of legendary cartoonist Jim Unger in 2012 did not stop the continuation of his groundbreaking and hilarious comics that had appeared in hundreds of newspapers worldwide. Unger’s creation, which he named “HERMAN,” was beloved by readers all over the world, and it continues to entertain audiences even today. Unger left behind a legacy of more than eight thousand HERMAN cartoons, and the sheer volume of his work continues to emerge even years after his death.

The responsibility of carrying forward the legacy of HERMAN was passed on to cartoonist David Weisglass and illustrator Raleigh Wood, who have continued to create new HERMAN cartoons that keep the laughter alive.
